Walnut Hill K9 Inn is a small, family-run dog boarding space inspired by a lifelong love of dogs and country living. We believe that every dog deserves comfort, companionship, and care that feels just like home.

Tucked along Amberley Road (Hwy 86), between Wingham and Listowel, our home offers a peaceful country setting that’s easy to reach for families across Huron and Perth Counties. With plenty of open space, quiet surroundings, and fresh air, it’s the perfect place for dogs to relax and unwind.

In-Home Dog Boarding

Rate: $60 per night

At Walnut Hill K9 Inn, we offer true in-home boarding.

With limited spaces available, each guest enjoys a peaceful, relaxed stay inside our family home. Your dog becomes part of our daily life, with the comfort, safety, and personal attention they deserve.

Extended Stays

Whether you’re away for a week or a month, we can accommodate longer visits.

We’ll follow your dog’s usual routine including meals, medications, and favourite toys — to make the transition smooth and stress-free.

Discounts may apply for extended stays (7+ nights).

About me

I’m Tracy, the owner of Walnut Hill K9 Inn, and caring for dogs is something that has always come naturally to me. With years of experience looking after family dogs, rescues, and senior pups, I understand how important it is to find a boarding space that feels safe and familiar.
We live right on Amberley Road (#86) in Wroxeter, where the quiet countryside gives dogs a peaceful and comforting place to stay. I’m also Canine First Aid & CPR certified, giving every dog here the benefit of trained, attentive care.
By keeping capacity small, we focus on comfort, routine, and individualized attention, making each stay calm, personal, and stress-free.
